Let the Fun Begin!

Let the fun begin!

Our 89th consecutive summer begins NOW and it’s going to be the best one ever.  Leave your worries at home. When you step off of that bus or out of your car, you’re going to be stepping into a summer of Pine Forest fun, “Up where the sky begins.”

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from or how you get here. It doesn’t matter what happened all school year long.  If your destination is Pine Forest Camp in Greeley, Pennsylvania today, you are in for the summer of your life.

As we sing every year on opening day, “We welcome you to Pine Forest, we’re mighty glad you’re here!”

And we are. Mighty glad.

Lower Camp Takeover!

It doesn’t get much better than this for lower camp! Our older campers are officially all away on their trips. Juniors and Intermediates have the run of camp. It’s a lower camp takeover! The highlight of the day was the COLOR DAYS THROWBACK THROWDOWN.  The girls and boys recreated Color Days themes from previous years and competed against each other in decorating the bunk, making a corresponding skit, and CLEAN-UP!

Big Sister | Little Sister

The secret is out!

This week Senior and Hi-Senior girls got the names of their “little sisters”. It was up to them to provide clues as to who they are. Is that a note under my pillow? A bracelet in my cubby? Who made my bed for me? Last night was the BIG REVEAL: Older campers identified themselves to their little sisters at a multi-dimentional evening activity!

It was a great few days of mystery and excitement!
