Camp Life

Hi Camp Families, Future and Past!

There are thousands of camps in the United States, from Maine to Colorado, from Wisconsin to the Florida Keys. Of these, there are less than a hundred that are over 86 years old. And of these, there are only a handful that have been owned and operated by the same family since their beginning. Pine Forest is one of those very, very few.

So what’s the secret to Pine Forest’s success? It’s really quite simple. It is the success of each and every camper. Your child’s story is really Pine Forest’s story. It’s their friendships and fun, it’s their achievements and adventures that are Pine Forest’s lasting legacy.

As parents, there are a lot of things that we can give our children. But some things we can’t. Independence. Self-esteem. Character. These are things that children have to earn on their own. And that truly is the gift of camp.

We’ve been singing the same song since 1931. On behalf of five generations of the camp family, we sing it to you with gratitude, pride and happiness; “Hail, hail the gang’s all here and you’re welcome to Pine Forest!”

See you at camp, “up where the sky begins” and the fun does too!
