After the Banquet, it’s Cabaret. So break out the clean clothes, it’s time
to celebrate an amazingly great summer.

” Callin’ out around the world, are you ready for a brand new beat?
Summer’s here and the time is right for dancin’ in the street.”

We’re dancing in Greeley, Pa.!

From actors to stage hands,
All got a big standing “O”

Like a Broadway production!
But done by campers one and all
“Because  a person’s a person
No matter how small”

Into The Woods

When you get right down to it, this is really what camp and camping is
all about. Our girls of all ages, divided into tribes,  blazed their own
trail and created their own camp site deep in the pine forest. (They have
even discovered the remnants of shelters built years ago by their
predecessors.)  Under the watchful eye of our outstanding Outdoor
Recreation staff, each team will establish their own home base, build a
shelter and set up camp. Every team received a different color bandana. At
the end of the morning each team will be judged on their site, spirit and
teamwork. There are some things that you can only do at camp and this is one of
them.

OTC!

They call it OTC and it means Old Timers Club! Any camper or counselor who has attended PFC for three years or more is officially a member. Today was their annual cheerfest and ice cream party. And it was a blast! Each year’s group stood up to be recognized and our oldest member, Uncle Marv, was the keynote speaker. At the end everyone received the much anticipated old-timers gift, this year it was a pair of blue and a pair of gold shoelaces! OTC 4 ever!!!
