Located in a new yurt at the top of our "Discovery Falls" waterfall, STEM offers campers the chance to be creative and learn new skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics while gaining an understanding of how those skills translate to camping and the outdoors. Learn how to build circuit boards, launch things from your very own catapult, create a shelter outdoors, build your own compass to navigate the woods, and much more.

Design, build and launch your own rocket! As simple as a spitfire and as advanced as a multi-stage Titan!

Our enchanting Art Village is a beehive of activity: tie-dying, ceramics and pottery, jewelry-making, painting and drawing are some of the featured activities, each housed in its own art “pod.” It’s all about creativity at Pine Forest. Don’t expect simple art kits, you’ll come home with dazzling, original creations.

Weekly news shows are the centerpiece of the broadcasting program, but we also teach sports announcing. Each summer we have professional sportscasters come to do clinics in play-by –play sportscasting and interviewing. Ask Zach Gelb, our long time camper, counselor, division leader and now host of his own sports talk show on the radio!

A film festival highlights our media program. Campers learn animation, editing, and directing. Have an idea for the next blockbuster? You can make it happen at PFC. And we’ve got plenty of actors and extras on-hand for you as well!

At Netsy Playhouse there’s a constant buzz of improv, stand-up and play rehearsal but the main events are our large, full-blown musicals each summer. Every camper who tries out “makes” the cast, and we’ve got an awesome camper tech crew and costuming team as well. Come join the fun! Recent performances at camp have included “Annie,” “Matilda,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Bye Bye Birdie.” What will the shows be this summer? What’s hot on Broadway?!

Is there a better sound in the world than a kids garage band playing “Gloria” for the first time? If you’ve never been in a band before or don’t even know how to play the guitar or drums, our rock ‘n’ roll counselors will make it happen. And every summer one of the most exciting events is the PFC “Battle of the Bands,” every camper can rock out if they want to! And they do!

Bird houses, baseball bats, doll houses and more. You can make anything that you can dream of under the guidance of our woodworking instructors in a special woodworking studio with advanced equipment.

Hip-hop, Ballet, Modern, Lyrical…Even Square dancing! All in our new, beautiful, campy dance center. At Pine Forest, there are dance classes and performances daily and competition with other camps, too. Any interested campers can always opt into our intensive Hip-Hop Boot Camp with our in–residence professional dancer and dance company director, Kelli Moshen.

Pine Forest was one of the very first camps to offer gourmet cooking classes and continues to be the leader in camp cuisine. We even started a special optional TOP Cooks program. Every camper has a chance to create and enjoy delicious food in our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen with loving, experienced chefs.
